And guest MC Sean Hebert, who Toronto audiences will know from this weekly comedy showcase ‘Howl at the Owl’, one of the finest indie mics in Toronto today
Talkhole Comedy Podcast Network presents the COWBOYS & INDIAN COMEDY TOUR.
Three joke slingers. One wagon (it’s a sedan). Taking over Western Canada, from Toronto to Victoria. Kicking off March 2017 with an official launch show at Toronto’s famous Comedy Bar. The Cowboys & Indian Tour is blazing a trail from comedy clubs and casinos, ski resorts and roadhouses, to theatres and college campuses. And every highfalutin’ bar in between.
Who are the comics?
NITISH SAKHUJA is a second-generation Indian Canadian, born and raised in Toronto’s Rexdale neighbourhood. A fixture on Toronto’s thriving “420 Friendly” standup scene, Sakhuja hosts and produces weekly shows at the cult comedy lounges Vape on the Lake and The Underground Comedy Club. Recently named ‘Brampton’s Funniest Person’, Sakhuja is a regular favourite on the bill at Toronto’s Corner Comedy Club and he’s recently showcased for the world famous Just for Laughs comedy festival. Last year he headlined the Border City Comedy Festival to audiences in Windsor/Detroit
SCOTT BELFORD is a born and bred Albertan. Originally hailing from Grand Prairie, he’s a regular touring comic across Western Canada. When he’s in Toronto he’s a regular fixture on the Yuk Yuks stage. Scott has appeared on festival stages coast to coast, including the Border City Comedy Festival and the Seattle International Comedy Competition. He’s a good natured prairie boy with a heart of spun gold (just look at that hayseed grin on the poster!)
DEAN YOUNG is a Toronto-based comedian and radio personality. The founder of TALKHOLE podcast network, Dean can be heard weekly on AM640 in Toronto, and regularly across North America on Sirius XM. He’s appeared at NXNE, Border City, Dark Comedy Festival, the Iceland Comedy Festival and he’s headlined as far away as Honolulu. This is Dean’s first cross-Canada tour. Born and bred to Finnish Canadian folk in the extreme cold of Northern Ontario, his early 90s upbringing was no Netflix and all chill.
